Kevin Doherty, L.Ac., Dipl.Ac., MSOM, has a passion for helping people like you live a spiritually connected, emotionally balanced, and physically thriving life. Since 2001, Kevin has helped hundreds of patients with a variety of chronic health issues, ranging from depression and anxiety to digestive disorders to PMS to chronic pain.

Since a young age, Kevin has always had a fascination with medicine, healing, and Eastern cultures. He has been an avid student of yoga and meditation since 1992. After creating a radically new lifestyle based on wellness in his early 20's and seeing amazing changes, Kevin became inspired to base his career path on helping others reclaim their health and purpose in life.

He received a bachelor’s degree in Eastern religion and psychology at Naropa university in 1997 and a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in 2001. He completed a two-year continuing education program with Lonny Jarrett, M.Ac. in 2002.   Kevin is NCCAOM certified and state licensed in Colorado to practice acupuncture.

Kevin is the author of widely acclaimed book The Purpose Principle: 11 Strategies to Help You Experience Ultimate Freedom In Your Health, Wealth, and Love Life. Heralded by mind/body luminary Larry Dossey, MD as a book that 'offers clear, down-to-earth advice on achieving fulfillment, freedom, and peace that will be of value to anyone', The Purpose Principle is recommended reading for all new patients at Boulder County Acupuncture.

Kevin is also a business coach and mentor to acupuncturists and holistic practitioners around the world. He spends his free time with his family, playing tennis, hiking, running, reading, playing piano, and writing.

Directions 

From Boulder: Take 36E, get off the Louisville/McCaslin exit, go right on McCaslin, take a left on Rock Creek Parkway, go about 1.5 miles, look for Horizons apartment complex on left, turn left on Tyler street into the Horizons, take first left into Cross Creek division(look for sign that says Cross Creek on left), pass mailboxes on right, the building is off to the left hand side after the mailboxes, sign at top says 2300 S. Rock Creek Pkwy and there is an acupuncture and massage sign on the building.

From Denver: Take 36W, get off on the E. Flatiron Crossing Dr. Exit, go left on E. Flatiron Crossing Dr., pass Flatirons Mall on the right, take a right on Tyler into Horizons at Rock Creek apartment complex, pass tennis courts on right, take right into Cross Creek area, (look for sign on right that says Cross Creek) pass mail boxes on right, look for office building on left with the address 2300 S. Rock Creek Pkwy displayed at top and there is an acupuncture and massage sign on the building.
